The Content Writer is assigned to the Demand Generation team (part of STORM’s Client Acquisition and Servicing Team) and reports to the Demand Generation Head. The content writer is responsible for developing relevant marketing communications content to drive awareness, support the company’s thought leadership initiatives, and generate more leads. His/Her essential duties and responsibilities are the following:

  • Participate in development of content strategy based on customer’s buying cycle and persona.
  • Research relevant topics/ resources/ blogs that target audience reads to find content ideas/ opportunities.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the content calendar.
  • Produce copy for demand generation requirements including website articles and social media posts, press releases, newsletters, case study/ reports, online and offline marketing collaterals.
  • Collaborates with product teams to draw data/ insights/ topics to create whitepapers and other relevant, targeted content.
  • Responsible for SEO keywords.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media or related fields.
  • Preferably 1-2 years work experience in related field; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Experienced in writing and editing content/ blog articles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong command of the English language; excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Exhibits project management skills, research skills, and strong attention to detail. Can work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SEO (search engine optimization) a plus.
  • Background/interest in HR or enterprise technology a plus.
