IT Security Manager

A detail-attentive implementer who can handle the entire Information Security infrastructure, IT processes and controls of the company.


We’re looking for someone who can implement the entire Information Security infrastructure, IT processes and controls of STORM in compliance with IT SEC standards. This includes developing, publishing, and maintaining comprehensive information security standards, policies, procedures and guidelines alongside proposing, recommending and implementing latest trends and programs in IT security to prevent outbreaks and new attack vectors. 

Provided that STORM is an HR tech firm holding a variety of confidential data, we need someone to ensure best practice control objectives for system and information integrity, availability, confidentiality, accountability, auditability and assurance within the context of the company’s risk tolerance and policies. And to make sure that everyone is in compliance with this, this role also has the responsibility of conducting and developing information security awareness and training materials, and well as conducting Security Code Reviews.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for  planning, coordinate, and implement security measures for IT systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
  • Responsible for IT Sec documentation, incident response and incident investigations.
  • Responsible for appropriate analysis, remediation, and remediation management for security related matters.
  • Serve as an internal security subject matter expert while interfacing with applicable departments, groups, and individuals on relevant security initiatives and concerns. 
  • Be a mentor and train others to help develop personnel and ensure cross training for better coverage. 
  • Works with the different groups to ensure performance, functionality and compliance as it relates to internal security IT SLAs, policies and procedures. 
  • Performs Information/IT Security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing


  • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in IT Security, better to have worked in different industries
  • Understands software, technology platforms and operating systems (e.g. RDBMS, NoSQL, API, UNIX/ Linux, Active Directory Services, Apache/Nginx, Git, Shell Scripting).
  • Understanding of IT, security and network infrastructure (e.g. various network & routing protocols, application of IP protocols, LANs, WANs, and related security protocols, cloud computing, network security components, monitoring, and operations )
  • Familiarity with IT Sec tools: Network IPS, Logging and event correlation/SIEM, File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanning, Patching, and network scanning.

  • Formal security trainings and certifications is a plus
